Self-Driving Lawn Mower

I’m a 62-year-old widow in North Carolina with a sloped acre and a bad knee. My son gifted me this mower after I kept complaining about how exhausting it was to push mine. Honestly, I didn’t expect to even like the thing, but wow. I steer it from the porch with a cold tea in hand and it just works. It climbs the back incline better than I ever did, and the grass looks fantastic. Setup wasn’t too bad either, especially with my son helping. I actually look forward to mowing days now. Never thought I’d say that.

ok so i live up in central washington and we got this steep-ass property that eats push mowers alive lol. got this beast and its like a lil tank. tracked wheels are wild. i literally sit in my truck w/ the AC on and control it from there 😂. had to figure out the remote at first but once i got it dialed it’s easy. grass looks clean. neighbors keep askin where i got it. 10/10.

I live in a smart home, and this was the missing piece. We’re a couple in our late 20s with a medium-sloped yard and zero free time. We don’t *do* push mowers. This thing feels like something out of a Black Mirror episode, but in a good way, it’s like remote-controlling a robot war machine over your grass. Slick interface, great cut quality, surprisingly intuitive. The engine has some growl to it too. Kind of love it.

The mower itself is fantastic, climbs like a champ, remote works even from 50 feet away, and it took down thick grass around my barn that my riding mower couldn’t reach. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the shipping delay. UPS misplaced the box and it took 6 days instead of 3. Not HighPeak’s fault, and they were responsive, but worth noting. Once it arrived, though, zero complaints. Cuts strong and looks like something out of Mad Max.

We got this for my dad’s 70th birthday. He has early Parkinson’s and hasn’t been able to mow the yard himself in years. I showed him how the remote worked and he just kept watching it go, whispering “Wow.” He used to take a lot of pride in the lawn, and this gave a piece of that back to him. It’s powerful, yes, and cuts super clean, but for us it was more about what it allowed. Thank you for making this.
